My Mission:

To help you create health freedom, so you can spend your time and energy living your dreams, not managing medical conditions. Through my easy and enjoyable anti-inflammatory approach, I'll help you make doable and delicious upgrades that improve your quality of life today, while also building a healthier future for tomorrow.

My Education & Experience:

I completed my Dietetic Internship, becoming a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), along with earning a Master of Science degree with a major in Food Systems Administration and a minor in Nutrition from Texas Woman’s University (2015). I became a Certified Health Coach (CHC) through the National Society of Health Coaches (2022).

Over the past decade, I’ve focused my continuing education on disease prevention, food allergies and sensitivities, food safety, culinary nutrition, and helping people build sustainable, realistic health habits that fit their everyday lives. I’ve been working as a nutrition educator for more than 10 years, and I absolutely love empowering people with anti-inflammatory living.

My Story:

When my first child was born, I wanted more for his health and began discovering the power of nutrition for the first time. In 2009, I went back to school, and by 2015, I had completed my internship and officially became a dietitian.

I take disease prevention seriously. Both of my parents had strokes in their 50s and 60s, and type 2 diabetes runs rampant in my family. I even had prediabetes in my 20s and gestational diabetes during my first pregnancy. Each year, I check my A1C and have an artery scan, among other things, to make sure my anti-inflammatory lifestyle is paying off. And it is - I haven’t been in the prediabetes category for over 20 years, and my arteries are clean.

As life does, it brought new challenges, including a post-viral fatigue syndrome and a genetic muscle condition known for rearing its ugly head in your 40s. Through research and persistence, I discovered that anti-inflammatory living is what works for me. This approach has allowed me to drastically reduce flare-ups, nearly eliminate daily symptoms, and regain my health freedom.

My Approach:

I’ve never been an all-or-nothing person, and I don’t expect you to be either. My teaching style is relaxed, flexible, and encouraging. I’ll meet you where you are, and together, we’ll take one enjoyable step at a time toward lasting health.
